Action tips: Choose an animal you want to be. Make the animal sound and move like that animal. March around the room to the song.

Action tips – Lie on your back. Place your child on your tummy facing you. Rock and roll from side to side to the music. Lift your child up and down at `it’s squishy it’s squashy’. OR show your child how to rock her teddy from side to side while lying on her back. OR make some mud, take off all clothes and really roll in the mud!

Action tips: Give your child a facecloth or a sponge and pretend to wash yourselves – remember to name and wash all body parts – even those not mentioned in the song – this promotes body concept. OR Jump into the bath and really wash all over!

Action tips – pretend your fingers are worms – tickle them all over each other bodies as the song dictates.

Action tips: Look into each others eyes and do the actions. Looking in the mirror while doing the eye actions can promote body awareness. Discuss eyes and what they can do. Experiment with them. Some people wear glasses to help them to see better and some people wear glasses on their eyes to protect them.

Action tips: Take out some pots and pans. Bang softly on a pot and then loud. Bang slowly and then fast. Stir with a spoon in the pot. For the song, bang rhythmically to the music.

Action tips: experiment with the concept of full and empty by filling and emptying containers. Pretend to be hungry, to be eating and to be full!

Action tips: Look around at all the things that are up in the sky, then look down on the ground and look for worms and other things that may be on the ground. Stretch bodies up when words are `up’ and then move body down onto the ground when words are `down’.
