Action tips: Move hands like waves, fly like a seagull, listen to the sea sound with hand on ear, dive hands like dolphins and put hands together and swim like a fish.

Action tips: Give your child something safe to tap with. It could be a teaspoon, an empty plastic bottle, or an ice cream stick. If you don’t have anything, tap with your hands. Move body from side to side, backwards and forwards and roll head or hands around.

Action tips: Use a soft toy to do the actions with.

8.The mole – finger play

The mole went into the hole x2
In with his snout he couldn’t get out

Wriggle and tickle and jiggle him out
The mole is out of his hole!

Action tips: Put your pointer finger into your opposite hand and hold it tightly. Pretend that your finger is the mole and your opposite hand is the hole. Your child may enjoy your finger in his hand which he can squeeze tightly so that you can’t get it out.

9. 10 little fingers

10 little fingers stood up straight 5 started moving 5 said wait lets put our tips together and push push push then ride off like and aeroplane woosh woosh woosh let’s do it again!

Action tips: When finger tips are together, close the hands in a prayer position and move them together to fly like an aeroplane.

10.My head my tummy

Action tips: Touch each body part as it is mentioned.

11.The wind of autumn

Action tips: Give your child a tissue, hold it up and blow on it so that it moves. How hard can you blow it? Can you blow it out of your hands? Can you make the wind blow softly and then hard? Each time you hear the words `the wind it blows’, blow the tissue to see the effects of the wind.

Action tips: Marching – swing arms, Stamping - bang hands onto your thighs, skipping – clap hands. OR Use teddy or dolly to do the actions.

Action tips: wiggle your body or wiggle with a hoop around your waist!

Action tips: Make animal sounds and pretend that you are farm animals. Use an empty plastic water bottle. Put some small stones or coins in it. Make sure that your child can’t open the bottle. Use it as a `shaker’ to shake to the song.

Action tips: Bend down low and pretend to grow up as big and high as possible by stretching the whole body up and out.

* Action tips: Dance in your seats to the music. When it says stop – stop moving, when it says go, move again. See who can stop without moving the best.

Action tips: Pretend that you are butterflies and flap your wings, move like a caterpillar and make yourself small to fit into a cocoon.

Action tips; Draw the shapes with fingers in the air. Find objects in the car that have the shapes eg, the steering wheel is round, the corner windows are triangles, and the knobs on the dashboard are square.

Action tips: Give your child a doll / teddy or any soft toy. Show your child how to bounce her baby on her knee and tip the baby from side to side and upside down to the music and then at the end of the song pretend that she is falling.
